Garden Benches

A combination of green oak and forged mild steel have been used to create this very durable, stable and comfortable garden bench; perfect outdoor furniture. Its design has been inspired and developed from a Victorian pattern where the end frames are more rigid. The steel, (30 x 6mm in section), is hand forged and the end frames incorporate riveting and welding to ensure strong mechanical joints. The rivet heads give a traditional feel to the product and reflect the methods of construction used before electric welding had been developed.

All steel frames and components are galvanised and powder coated which will ensure a very long life. Should the oak deteriorate, (which will only be after a significant period), it can be unbolted and replaced. This is a piece of garden furniture which has been designed with sustainability and longevity in mind and built to last (unlike much garden furniture on the market today).

The benches can be supplied with a satin black or satin moss green powder coating; dependent on personal preference.
